Backwell House encapsulates quiet luxury, providing the highest standards in comfort and cuisine.

It is available to hire for corporate meetings, workshops, weddings, private parties, family lunches and many other events.

Our interconnected reception rooms can seat up to 60 people, although you can have up to 200 people outside in the grounds. Our dining rooms are also discreet enough to offer you privacy at your table.

Menus change regularly and are all prepared to the highest specification by our in-house chef.

The hotel is open to non-residents who can drop in for a drink or lunch if passing, but you can hire the hotel exclusively, or hire parts of it to suit your needs.

The house also features a beautiful conservatory, spacious lounge and fully-stocked bar.

TIPIS ON THE LAWN

Our outside space is fantastic for larger parties and we can cater for up to 200 people. The events outside have usually been held within a marquee or even tipis for the more adventurous and we will aim to accommodate your requirements, however these are all booked and paid for as extras at your own expense and organisation.
